Matlacha and the East Side to Punta Gorda

The Maze of mangroves, cuts, creeks and island shorelines within this vast area makes this one of my favorite areas to hunt for snook. In particular, the southern end near Matlacha with it’s strong tidal flow can be really good around creek mouths and adjacent shorelines.
